Founder
With years of experience in riding and competing Laura continues her involvement with horses through the creation of Wild Horse Ranch. Laura always had a vision of creating a ranch where people and horses could come together to make a difference in each other’s life for the better. Laura’s exposure to horses is deep rooted and profound and has been in her family for generations. Laura’s love for horses started at a very young age, when she was old enough her parents bought her a pony and she was able to join the local pony club. This instilled a lifetime love for horses. Laura is an accomplished rider achieving great success in horse shows and 3 day eventing. She has taught both her children how to ride and they are actively involved in helping her run the ranch. Laura currently rehabilitates and trains the rescue horses that come to our facility. Laura hopes to educate people on how they can help horses in need and how they can give back to a worthy cause.
Event Coordinator
Suzanne has been riding horses since she was six years old. She met Laura on the elementary school playground and they've been friends ever since. Suzanne has been coordinating fundraising events for groups for over 25 years. While living in England, she hosted several events for Mid-Surrey Pony Club, including a formal dinner and auction in the Queen's Stand at the Epsom Derby which raised over $25,000. Suzanne moved back to the USA in 2010 and has since attended numerous equestrian events in Wellington, Lexington and Tryon. She recently settled in Ocean Isle Beach and is the proud parent of a Carolina Tar Heel, class of 2022. Suzanne looks forward to coordinating events at Wild Horse Ranch. Let's get this party started!
